NEW project

A few weeks ago we purchased some really big cinder blocks for landscaping. Not to mention we got them for a steal of a deal just a dollar a each, normally these big cinders would cost almost five bucks each so we made out like bandits. In our very small back yard we are re-building our retaining wall. It wasn't to bad before but we decided it needed a make over. In the near future we will be adding some kind of water feature. We are not done with the project just yet, we only have 1/2 of the wall built, but I really can't even say 1/2 because we still need to put the top cinders on to top it off so here we are right in the middle of the project but it will be done soon. Ben is such a hard worker at making our house look better and nicer. Ever since we have moved in here there have been lots of projects to work on, I wonder what will be next?? I guess we will have to see!! Have a nice day folks.

Lazy Dayz

When there is nothing much going on and you know it is just going to be a lazy day, this is where you will find me, hanging out on the bean bag with my buddy Legadu. He loves to cuddle with you. When Legadu was a puppy we could never really get him to cuddle with you, until Ben took him backpacking one year and it was supper cold Legadu cuddled up real close to Ben so he would stay warm and ever since that trip he loves to cuddle as much as he can. Were okay with that I guess.

Work, Work, Work

Buying a new home means that there is always something to be worked on. Wither it be demolition, painting or installing something new. Well this weeks project or should I say maybe a couple of weeks, we have been working on installing new tile for our front entry way. Before it was this crappy old worn out wood floor and it just had to go. So one day Ben decided to rip it all out and that is how the project began. We had a few set backs like BSU games or Ben accidentally cut his finger with the razor blade so that put us back a while but the good news is he still has is finger and it is healing nicely and that we finished it YEAH!! Now we have started on getting Tom's bathroom tiled we are just about done, the only thing left to do is to seal the tile and grout lines and put the toilet back in and than we are DONE!! After doing a project like this the end results are always rewarding.
